Status Summary
Two bills remain active in the Texas House of Representatives:
- HB 150 sponsored by Representative Flynn would drop DST in Texas effective September 1, 2015.
- HB 363 sponsored by Representative James White would create the “Texas Task Force on Daylight Saving Time” to report findings by December 1, 2016.
Legislation Intent
Both bills propose to observe “standard time” year-round. One would take effect January 1, 2016, the other would take effect one year later on January 1, 2017.

I pray HB150 passes. So tired of springing forward and falling back.
So as of right now, we are stilling falling back come Nov 1, 2015? Can’t really find anything clear on the status of this.
Sorry… your post on 10/19 got caught in a lot of spam – I just uncovered it!
So the answer to your question is YES, everyone that went on Daylight Saving Time in March goes OFF of DST Sunday morning November 1 – the day after Halloween.
Only Arizona and Hawaii do not observe DST… every other US state does – currently.
Hope that helps!
