Arkansas

1997, HB 1729, abolishing DST.

1997, HB 1785, establishing Year-Round DST.  Failed.

1999, SB 293, establishing Year-Round DST.  Failed.

California

In September 2000, AJR 56, requesting Congress to permit Year-Round DST.

In January 2001, SJR 1, requesting Congress to “permit greater flexibility” regarding DST.

In June 2001, SJR 1, requesting Congress to permit Year-Round DST.

Georgia

In 2008, SR 1113, created a committee to study DST.

In 2011, SR 322, simply attempts to “recognize the rich history and tradition behind the United States’s observation of Daylight Saving Time”.

Idaho

In 2001, HB 384, proposing to exempt that part of the state that is in the Mountain Time Zone from DST.  Failed.

In 2012, HB 693, proposing to exempt the entire state from DST.  Failed.

In 2014, HB 559, proposing to exempt the entire state from DST.  Failed.

Iowa

1999, HCR 9, a resolution requesting Congress to permit Year-Round DST.
