Florida Representative Proposes Year-Round DST for 2016
Well, this caught me off-guard, since it’s still early December 2015, but Representative Kristin Jacobs has filed HB 893 in the Florida legislature for consideration in their 2016 session, according to the Florida state legislature web site.

Arkansas Bill Killed by House
According to the Arkansas legislature web site, HB 1947, which would have exempted the state from Daylight Saving Time if any neighboring state also eliminated DST, was killed by the state’s House of Representatives. Online voting results indicated 11 For, 69 Against, and 19 Non-Voting.
