Spoke Too Soon: A Second Bill from Oregon!
So my mid-day web search uncovered Senate Bill 690 read in the Oregon Senate today, sponsored by Sen. Brian Boquist, which would eliminate Daylight Saving Time in the state. I’ve written to Senator Boquist regarding the absence of any specified effective or start date for the revised statute, recommending January 1, 2016 at the earliest.

Nevada Gambles On Congress
Today, the Nevada legislature filed an Assembly Joint Resolution AJR 4 asking Congress to permit Year-Round Daylight Saving Time. We’ll add more when we know more!
Illinois Year-Round DST Legislation Emerges
Illinois Representative Bill Mitchell introduced HB 1562 into the state’s House of Representatives yesterday February 9, which: Provides that daylight saving time shall be the year-round standard time of the entire State. Effective July 1, 2015.
