From <a title=\"Ky. lawmaker seeks to end Daylight Saving Time\" href=\"http:\/\/www.wkyt.com\/home\/headlines\/Ky-lawmaker-seeks-to-end-Dayling-Saving-Time--247145041.html?device=tablet&amp;c=y\" target=\"_blank\">WKYT article online<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Tennessee. From <a title=\"Legislation Making Daylight Savings Time Permanent In Tennessee Is A Bad Idea\" href=\"http:\/\/www.chattanoogan.com\/2014\/2\/18\/269932\/Legislation-Making-Daylight-Savings.aspx\" target=\"_blank\">The Chattanoogan article online<\/a>\u00a0and <a title=\"Bill seeks to freeze Tennessee in daylight saving time\" href=\"http:\/\/www.wkrg.com\/story\/24745180\/daylight-saving-time-bill\" target=\"_blank\">WKRG News 5 article here<\/a>.\u00a0 Apparently it was killed in the Tennessee House Government Committee, losing by only one vote (6-to-5), <a title=\"Daylight saving time bill fails by one vote\" href=\"http:\/\/www.wbir.com\/story\/news\/local\/2014\/03\/25\/tn-lawmakers-vote-against-daylight-saving-bill\/6869511\/\" target=\"_blank\">this WBIR article <\/a>reports.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>In 2013<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Colorado. From <a title=\"Year-Round Daylight Savings Time Bill In Colorado Dies In Committee\" href=\"http:\/\/www.huffingtonpost.com\/2013\/02\/05\/year-round-daylight-savin_n_2622228.html\" target=\"_blank\">Huffington Post article<\/a>\u00a0which said they were proposing Year-Round DST, requiring a referendum in 2014 and going to effect 2015.\u00a0 Apparently there was also a 2011 effort in Colorado as well, according to a <a title=\"Posts by Topic: daylight saving time\" href=\"http:\/\/blogs.denverpost.com\/thespot\/topic\/daylight-saving-time\/\" target=\"_blank\">Denver Post archive<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Florida.\u00a0 According to <a href=\"http:\/\/investorplace.com\/investorpolitics\/florida-pushes-to-keep-daylight-savings-time-permanently\/#.VNUqiod0xhF\" target=\"_blank\">this article on the Investor Place web site<\/a>, Florida had legislation in 2013.\u00a0 On the FL legislature web site, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.myfloridahouse.gov\/Sections\/Bills\/billsdetail.aspx?BillId=49485\" target=\"_blank\">one bill<\/a> was withdrawn prior to introduction, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.myfloridahouse.gov\/Sections\/Bills\/billsdetail.aspx?BillId=49876\" target=\"_blank\">the other<\/a> died in the Education Committee.<\/li>\n<li>Missouri.\u00a0 From <a title=\"Missouri daylight saving bill would end time changes for good\" href=\"http:\/\/www.kansascity.com\/news\/local\/article318062\/Missouri-daylight-saving-bill-would-end-time-changes-for-good.html\" target=\"_blank\">Kansas City Star online<\/a>.\u00a0 The bill sought to go to Year-Round DST, if 20 states agree.<\/li>\n<li>New Mexico.\u00a0 From a <a title=\"SB 559 from 2013\" href=\"http:\/\/www.ped.state.nm.us\/ped\/DDashDocs\/BillAnalysis\/SB0559.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">PDF of the legislation<\/a> on the NM legislature site.\u00a0 Would have abolished DST and observe standard time all year.<\/li>\n<li>South Carolina. From <a title=\"ESTABLISH THE &quot;DAYLIGHT SAVING AS THE NEW STANDARD TIME PACT&quot;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.scstatehouse.gov\/sess120_2013-2014\/bills\/3848.htm\" target=\"_blank\">SC Legislature web site<\/a>.\u00a0 Intention was to move to Year-Round DST, but only when 20 states joined the &#8220;New Standard Time Pact&#8221;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>In 2012<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Idaho. From <a title=\"Will Idaho Pull Blinds on Daylight Saving Time? \" href=\"http:\/\/m.magicvalley.com\/news\/local\/twin-falls\/will-idaho-pull-blinds-on-daylight-saving-time\/article_a231d638-da5c-5960-90fb-1e6ac1d66341.html?mobile_touch=true\" target=\"_blank\">MagicValley.com<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Ohio. From a WXIX Fox 19 <a title=\"Ohio state rep. wants to repeal Daylight Saving Time\" href=\"http:\/\/www.fox19.com\/story\/17119508\/ohio-state-rep-wants-to-repeal-daylight-saving-time\" target=\"_blank\">article online<\/a>.\u00a0 State Representative Courtney Combs\u00a0proposed to &#8220;retire this World War I era antique&#8221; and go off of DST.\u00a0 A bit longer article also appears on <a title=\"Bill Would End Daylight Savings Time\" href=\"http:\/\/theeveningleader.com\/content\/bill-would-end-daylight-savings-time\" target=\"_blank\">The Evening Leader<\/a> web site.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>In 2011<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Colorado.<\/li>\n<li>Montana.\u00a0Based on a web search, Montana has been actively seeking to abolish DST off and on since 1999.\u00a0 The <a title=\"AN ACT ESTABLISHING DAYLIGHT SAVING TIME AS THE OFFICIAL TIME FOR MONTANA\" href=\"http:\/\/leg.mt.gov\/bills\/2011\/BillHtml\/HB0500.htm\" target=\"_blank\">most recent legislation is here<\/a>, from the MT Legislature web site, which actually proposed to adopt Year-Round DST.<\/li>\n<li>Nebraska. From a <a title=\"Bill would reject daylight saving time \" href=\"http:\/\/update.legislature.ne.gov\/?p=2805\" target=\"_blank\">Nebraska legislature update page<\/a>.\u00a0 State would have abolished DST.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>In 2010<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Alaska, which has several bills in 2015, also tried in 2010, according to TimeAndDate.com&#8217;s <a title=\"Alaska Bill To End Daylight Saving Time Defeated\" href=\"http:\/\/legacysite3.timeanddate.com\/news\/time\/alaska-daylight-saving-time.html\" target=\"_blank\">article here<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Louisiana. From an Associated Press\u00a0story on an\u00a0<a title=\"Bill proposes daylight-saving time year-round in La.\" href=\"http:\/\/www.dailycomet.com\/article\/20100413\/HURBLOG\/100419880\" target=\"_blank\">online page <\/a>from the Lafourche Parish, LA Daily Comet.\u00a0 A similar article is on <a title=\"Bill proposes daylight-saving time year-round in La.\" href=\"http:\/\/www.wwltv.com\/story\/local\/2014\/11\/28\/14300066\/\" target=\"_blank\">WWL TV 4&#8217;s web site<\/a>.
