This week, two bills were filed — one from the House, one from the Senate — that make small, non-substantive changes to the Iowa Daylight Saving Time law.\u00a0 Small things, like changing “2:00” to “two o’clock”.\u00a0 Hardly worth noticing…<\/p>\n
Unless you read the full paragraph where the changes are being made.\u00a0 These paragraphs still state that Iowa will go on DST the first Sunday of April through the last Sunday of October, which isn’t what US federal statutes say.<\/p>\n
I’ve written to sponsors of both bills, mentioning the discrepancy not addressed.<\/p>\n
