Washington state Senator John McCoy sponsored SB 5570 proposing to have the state revert to year-round Pacific Standard, abolishing Daylight Saving Time throughout the state.
This senate bill is similar to Washington Representative Elizabeth Scott’s HB 1479, though the Senate version contains some additional wording. Both would have the effect of eliminating DST in the state.
